Very rarely do I have days where I have literally nothing to do. I'm a busy-body, either I'm doing or I'm extensively planning on doing. When I have a day with nothing on the agenda - it's almost difficult for me to process. This past Saturday, I had the luxury of having a non-existent to-do list, beautiful weather, and the greatest city on Earth waiting to be explored.
I spent nearly my entire day in the Union Square Farmers Market smelling flowers, tasting (semi) local honey, and trying to come up with ways to successfully travel back to my apartment with so much produce in tow. The Farmers Market is one of those not-so-hidden treasures in the city that you often forget just how wonderful it is. It's inexpensive (not just New York City cheap - but like, won't actually break the bank), you can get delicious food there, and you may see a couple celebrities shopping as well (I did!)
